Benidorm – the Manhattan of Spain

Overview

The coastal town Benidorm is situated in the Alicante province and is a municipality. This was a relatively small village before 1960; at present it is a tourist town with lots of beaches, hotels and skyscrapers and its economy is mainly driven by tourism. This city has a population of about 74,000 people. The hotels and skyscrapers form a skyline that made people call this city as the Manhattan of Spain.

Travelling Information for Sitges

Sitges is considered to be the trial of Mediterranean. Sitges is small village having fishing as the main occupation and is located about 20 km versus Southwest of Barcelona. Sitges is a picturesque town down that is situated along the Costa Brava. Sitges has in fact been one of the most important fishing villages that was present on the east coast of Spain. Places of interest in Spain Ourense

The city of Ourense is the capital of the Province of Ourense which is in the North Western part of Spain. The history of the city can be traced back to the 5th Century when it is believed that it was part of the Roman Empire. The province is located on the banks of the mighty Minho River and receives good rainfall which provides it with a rich vegetation. Ourense has many places of interest for tourists.

The city is divided into three parts: one relates to the medieval period, the second one was developed in the 19th Century and, the third one is the most recently developed area. Ole – Come and See Spain!

Spain is a tourist’s paradise. The very fact that nearly 48 million tourists visit it every year speaks volumes about its popularity. Penon de Ifach rock in Calpe – A spot too good to miss

Calpe is a beautiful coastal resort to that is essentially dominated with a very well-known and extraordinary Penon de Ifach rock. Calpe has been an important tourist destination since a very long time because of its mesmerizing fine qualities sandy beaches with turquoise and clean waters. The town of Calpe has a fine and authentic Spanish feel attached to it, especially the port area that is lined up with a number of restaurants where one can have great deal of time sample tasting the fresh fish that is caught on daily basis.

Arenal and Levante are two excellent beaches to choose from. A lot of summer rental facilities available in this area and people can really indulge in pedal boating, windsurfing and jet-scheme. These villas and apartments are mainly the holiday rented accommodations or a second home owned by North Europeans and Spaniards. Most of the visitors took like to stay at the center of the town that this only five minutes drive from the sea.
