Places of interest in Spain – Vigo

Today, Vigo is one of the important cities of Galicia. Ironically centuries ago, Vigo was a small village which suffered several attacks by invaders. At that time Vigo was so small that it was not even considered as a village. Now Vigo is not only an important city, but it is also the largest city. It now attracts many tourists.

Some of the places of interest for tourists in Vigo are briefly mentioned here:

Park:

Places of interest in Spain – Menorca

One of the most preferred places by tourists from Europe is Menorca, also called Minorca of the Balearic Islands of Spain. It is renowned for its natural beauty, rich vegetation, beautiful beach and wild life; it is something mind blowing. Realizing its high tourist potential, the government has not allowed commercialization of nearly 75% of the area. Therefore the place still retains its natural beauty and extends a very warm welcome to the tourists. The oldest community called the Es Mercadal is located to the north in this beautiful island.

Just take a tour of the caves in this beautiful island. Interestingly, some of the caves are believed to belong to the Bronze Age! Most of these caves are just in front of the sea. The Beauty of Spain: La Linea

‘It is stunningly beautiful’, is what every tourist says about every place he visits in Spain. Centuries old buildings known for their architectural elegance are well maintained even to this day, and there is always somewhere else exciting to visit like museums, parks, art galleries, palaces, beautiful sculptures …….. and more! Every destination in Spain should never be missed – there are endless treats in store for all tourists.

The small town of La Linea is one place not to be missed. This small town is very close to Gibraltar. In fact many historians say that the city is closely related to Gibraltar. History goes on to say that Gibraltar used to be a part of Spain but it was lost to an ‘Anglo Dutch’ fleet way back in 1704. Basque – a province dependent on agriculture, yet a prominent tourist spot

This province originally inhabited by people of Indo European origin is located near Cantabrian Mountain. Vizcaya, Guipuzcoa and Alava are the other towns coming under this province. This is a province largely dependent on agriculture but has many interesting places for tourists. The enormous mountain range surrounding the province, a beautiful port, Gothic cathedral are the other places of interest.

The different cities coming under the Basque are in a range of about 30 minutes drive. For example Bilbao, one of the cities of Basque has a beautiful port. There is an ancient church which is said to be centuries old. There is also an imposing building of the Town Hall and a beautiful park surrounding it. Another important area worth seeing is the Guggenheim Museum. The building of this Museum is said to be a masterpiece work of the 20th century. There is an exhibition of modern art. Villas Lloret de mar

Lloret de mar, the historical place of Spain is the ideal place to enjoy the stunningly beautiful natural environment, the long stretch of beach of the Mediterranean Sea.
